RockBottom Recovery was founded in September of 2007 by DJ Walker and Margo Coleman

Dolores J. Walker is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has been involved in social work both professionally and as a volunteer for 30+ years. She received her Masters in Counseling and also holds the Master Addiction Counselor certification from the National Association of Alcohol and Drug Addiction Counsel (NAADAC). DJ is a member of the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress and holds several certifications with the Red Cross in crisis management. She is a presenter at National Symposiums on Substance Abuse and Trauma. As a Third Order or Secular Franciscan and Minister of the St. Francis de Sales Fraternity of Franciscans in Colorado Springs, based at Mt. St. Francis, she strives to live by the Rule of St. Francis in simplicity and peace. She enjoys reading, loves cooking, gardening (especially roses!) and classical music when time permits. She has two sons, one of whom lives in Colorado Springs with his wife and 2 children, the other a Captain in the United States Air Force. One adopted daughter lives in the Philippines with her husband and three sons where they work as missionaries.

Margo Coleman is a Master's educated Senior Certified Addictions Counselor III. As an expert in the field of addictions she has worked for the Colorado Department of Corrections as a dual diagnosis therapist and has over 20 years professional experience in the field of addictions counseling and education. While working for the Department of Corrections she created a program for inmates preparing to reenter society, and worked with them on family reintegration issues. Margo taught Psychology and Medical Terminology at a business college and is a certified Driving with Care Instructor. She is registered as an unlicensed psychotherapist with the State of Colorado. She has three daughters and four grandchildren. Her oldest daughter is an officer with the Department of Corrections, another daughter works for the Union Pacific Railroad, and her youngest daughter is a Special Education teacher in the El Paso County School District. Margo enjoys spending time with her family and college-aged grandchildren, and is the number one fan of her youngest grandson's golf team. She enjoys watching vintage films and traveling. Both women have a passion for their work, are client centered, and believe strongly in the concept of change through quality professional treatment.
